CamX supports successful delivery of refurbished Dash 8-400

CamX is proud to have supported the successful delivery of an OEM refurbished De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 to Australia, as part of a lease transaction managed by our customer.

The aircraft, refurbished under the OEM programme by De Havilland Canada, has been placed on a long-term operating lease and has already entered service, supporting regional connectivity across Western Australia.

Full records review and build-up

CamX played a key role in ensuring a smooth and compliant transition by supporting the full records review and build-up of the aircraft documentation. This included validating the completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of all technical records, creating a robust and structured records baseline ahead of delivery.

Through a meticulous approach, CamX ensured that the aircraft records met the highest industry standards, enabling a seamless handover to the next operator.

Supporting a seamless transition to operator

Following the records consolidation phase, CamX also supported the onward delivery of the aircraft to the new operator, facilitating an efficient transfer aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.

Purchase and delivery of Dash 8-Q400

We are proud that we supported our client in the successful purchase and delivery of a Bombardier Dash 8-Q400.

Our team conducted a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection, covering both the physical condition of the aircraft and an in-depth review of all technical and maintenance records. This thorough approach ensured full transparency and confidence throughout the acquisition process.

(Re)-delivery of Embraer E-190

CamX Aero is happy to announce we have been able to support TrueNoord on the redelivery and subsequent delivery of an Embraer E-190.

The project consisted of a full back to birth records inspection and project management between lessor and both redelivering and new operator.

The aircraft was flying for an EASA carrier and is now operating out of the UK since delivery.

Pre Purchase Inspection in Broome

CamX Aero performed a Pre Purchase Inspection on a Dash 8-Q400 in Broom Australia. The aircraft records were inspected remotely from the CamX offices in The Netherlands. The physical inspection was performed by a local representative of CamX in Australia.

The aircraft is purchased, the binder of records in since then complelety build up as per the new owners’ requirements and supplied.

Annual Inspection ATR-42

On behalf of one of our customers we conducted two Annual Inspections on ATR-42 aircraft based in India. Our records team in the CamX office conducted a full review since birth of the aircraft this time. This was the first inspection since delivery.

Our consultant based in India performed the physical inspection during the night stop of both aircraft.

Portable ELT services

CamX Aero is happy to announce that we now also provided temporary solutions for ferry / positioning flights.

It is very common to re-position aircraft between locations on a temporary registration. Removing, reprogramming and reinstalling fixed ELT’s causes delays and costs that can be prevented, especially when an aircraft needs to be moved quickly.

CamX Aero supplies portable fixed ELT’s that can be programmed on a temporary registration and be on-site very quickly, with an accompanying EASA Form-1. Deactivate the aircraft fixed ELT and temporary install the portable fixed ELT from CamX Aero and the aircraft can be re-positioned.

  • Portable ELT needs to be reprogrammed once
  • Fixed aircraft ELT only needs to be programmed once to its new final aircraft registration
  • Flexible use
  • Quick turnarounds

Boeing 737-800 delivery

We were able to deliver the last 737-800, that CamX did the redelivery of last year, to KlasJet. The aircraft was waiting for a new customer in Belgrade for a couple of months. During that period we managed the aircraft on site until the delivery process started.

From our head quarters in The Netherlands all aircraft statusses were kept up to date and rebuild for KlasJet in an acceptable format they can use in their operations.

Many thanks to all team members involved, both on-site and at home base. A job well done.

Successful delivery of 5 aircraft to Transavia

Last week CamX was able to deliver the last of a total of five 737-800’s to Dutch Transavia. The aircraft returned from Blue Air, which ceased operations in September 2022.

Due to the fact that Blue Air ceased operations, the records were completely rebuild by CamX before the aircraft were delivered to Dutch Transavia.

Many thanks to all team members of the lessor, Transavia and CamX for the teamwork to make this happen!

Delivery A330-200

Another aircraft returned to service. During the past 6 months this Airbus A330-200 was maintained and returned to service by Fokker in Woensdrecht. The aircraft is succesfully delivered to the new operator using the aircraft for ACMI operations.

CamX was responsible for on-site support during the return to service of the aircraft and hosting the new operator during their inspections.
