Knowing from a young age that a future job in aviation was the goal to achieve. During my study Aeronautical Engineering, I gained some experience in both aircraft manufacturing and airline operations by intern and graduation projects. In the end, my first real steps in aviation were working in manufacturing aircraft sub-assemblies at Fokker, but I soon discovered that the technical management of in-service aircraft attracted me more.
A few positions within the Continued Airworthiness departments of three different Dutch Airlines followed, including being the Engineering Manager of a Dutch Airline.
Knowing the added value for aircraft owners, lessors and lessees in managing a complete, clear technical asset management on a high standard, I decided that a new era should begin. By not only providing the manpower to run asset management projects, but also offering a software where the assets are constantly monitored and accessible in order to make decisions at any given moment. For me it is important that, no matter which CamX team member is working on a project, the customers will always experience that CamX is part of their own organization.
