Technical Asset Management

The fleet of aircraft owned by lessors is increasing, but also flexible. This requires lessors to have a reliable partner support them in the Technical Aircraft Asset Management.

CamX Asset Managers have years of experience on different aircraft types. They monitor the aircraft types on a daily basis and combining this with their knowledge they are able to advise the customers on crucial modifications and airworthiness directives, updates on maintenance programs that effect the maintenance reserves positions and return conditions of aircraft.

The asset managers use this information to continuously monitor their portfolio of aircraft and related engines. Based on the requirements of the owners they keep contact with the current lessees and conduct scheduled records and physical inspections on the intervals determined up front.

The network of Technical Consultants is used to keep costs within budget, but still achieve the standard high quality needed for monitoring and reporting the state and condition of each aircraft.

Records management

Keeping the aircraft binder up to date is needed for a smooth, on-time and cost effective aircraft return and subsequent delivery. Since the Asset Managers are always working on their portfolio, they know what information they need for each aircraft.

By organising the updated information retrieved during each inspection, the binder is always up to date up to the last inspection performed. When issues are found during the inspections, they make sure they are reported back and actions are taken by the lessee. The rectifications are either reported back with substantiation, or during the next inspection these findings are to be closed.

Insight

An Inspection Report is just a snap shot. It gives the owner an overview of the condition of the aircraft at that perticular moment. The key is to have an insight in the aircraft during the lifetime of the aircraft.

A graphical presentation can be downloaded from the CamX portal per aircraft at any given moment. The overview contains an insight in:

  • Open Airworthiness Directives and Modifications with significant impact
  • Due heavy maintenance visits
  • Due engine, APU and landing gear visits
  • Open items from previous inspections

This means we provide you all the insights and tools to work with, in order for you, as owner of the aircraft, to manage the relationship with the lessees.
