CamX Aero performed a Pre Purchase Inspection on a Dash 8-Q400 in Broom Australia. The aircraft records were inspected remotely from the CamX offices in The Netherlands. The physical inspection was performed by a local representative of CamX in Australia.

The aircraft is purchased, the binder of records in since then complelety build up as per the new owners’ requirements and supplied.

On behalf of one of our customers we conducted two Annual Inspections on ATR-42 aircraft based in India. Our records team in the CamX office conducted a full review since birth of the aircraft this time. This was the first inspection since delivery.

Our consultant based in India performed the physical inspection during the night stop of both aircraft.

A succesful first inspection working together with the lessor and lessee.

CamX Aero is happy to announce that we now also provided temporary solutions for ferry / positioning flights.

It is very common to re-position aircraft between locations on a temporary registration. Removing, reprogramming and reinstalling fixed ELT’s causes delays and costs that can be prevented, especially when an aircraft needs to be moved quickly.

CamX Aero supplies portable fixed ELT’s that can be programmed on a temporary registration and be on-site very quickly, with an accompanying EASA Form-1. Deactivate the aircraft fixed ELT and temporary install the portable fixed ELT from CamX Aero and the aircraft can be re-positioned.

Advantages:

  • Portable ELT needs to be reprogrammed once
  • Fixed aircraft ELT only needs to be programmed once to its new final aircraft registration
  • Flexible use
  • Quick turnarounds

We were able to deliver the last 737-800, that CamX did the redelivery of last year, to KlasJet. The aircraft was waiting for a new customer in Belgrade for a couple of months. During that period we managed the aircraft on site until the delivery process started.

From our head quarters in The Netherlands all aircraft statusses were kept up to date and rebuild for KlasJet in an acceptable format they can use in their operations.

Many thanks to all team members involved, both on-site and at home base. A job well done.

Last week CamX was able to deliver the last of a total of five 737-800’s to Dutch Transavia. The aircraft returned from Blue Air, which ceased operations in September 2022.

Due to the fact that Blue Air ceased operations, the records were completely rebuild by CamX before the aircraft were delivered to Dutch Transavia.

Many thanks to all team members of the lessor, Transavia and CamX for the teamwork to make this happen!

We wish Transavia safe operations with these five aircraft.

Another aircraft returned to service. During the past 6 months this Airbus A330-200 was maintained and returned to service by Fokker in Woensdrecht. The aircraft is succesfully delivered to the new operator using the aircraft for ACMI operations.

CamX was responsible for on-site support during the return to service of the aircraft and hosting the new operator during their inspections.

Last month we completed the delivery of the second aircraft for Aero Italia. The subject aircraft, now registered 9H-GEF was managed for over 6 months by CamX on the airport of Woensdrecht after being early returned to the lessor by the previous operator.

During the 6 months the records were rebuild to be compliant with the legislation and according to the lessors records standards. In the meantime the aircraft was repainted, maintained and modified by Fokker Services, where CamX was responsible for on-site support on behalf of the lessor.

We like to thank Aero Italia for their cooperation and wish them many happy landings with the aircraft!

Last month we completed the re-delivery and subsequent delivery of a Boeing 737-800 on behalf one of our customers. The aircraft, operated by Caribbean Airlines was returned in Port of Spain, Trinidad. A great cooperation with the operator and phase out team.

The aircraft was sold for cargo conversion later this year. We wish the new operator many safe flights and landings with this workhorse.

Again a great team effort of both CamX team, the lessee and lessor.

Just before the end of 2021 we succeeded to finish the redelivery of an Airbus A330 of KLM, on time, on behalf of Air Lease Corporation. After a fresh C-check in Amsterdam and repaint in Malta, the aircraft is now parked for the holidays and will be transferred early next year, ready to start a new operational life.

CamX supported the redelivery with a full records review and on-site support during all phases of the redelivery and will continue the support during parking and delivery to the next lessee.

A great team effort not only by the CamX team, but also the lessee and lessor made it possible to deliver the airplane on time.
